Commercial Architecture for L3 Capital’s vast retail portfolio
We are excited to share with you some images from our ongoing work with L3 Capital LLC, a national real estate investment firm specializing in the retail market. Their properties have all been in central downtown Williamsburg, formerly an industrial area, now one of Brooklyn’s most highly prized and valuable mixed-use districts. Of the over fifteen different sites we have looked at with L3 since 2017, several have by now been realized. The projects have included renovations and new ground-up retail/commercial buildings, along with studies for mixed-use buildings as well.
New or renovated, all of our architectural projects share a commitment to contextual design, buildings that show a devotion to the industrial brick and steel window character of the neighborhood. Detailed brickwork inspired by this traditional building stock is integrated into many of our projects for L3.
Special congratulations go to Anthony Watkins, a senior associate in our office and a Williamsburg neighbor, whose tireless efforts on behalf of L3 have been appreciated by them. He is now shepherding another new retail/commercial building for them on Bedford Street. Anthony’s keen knowledge of L3’s needs and of the kind of construction they prefer is critical to his ongoing success in his service to them.
